- as a woman with abdominal pain, get a heating belt you can use with a power-bank as a portable alternative to a hottie, e.g. a cheap one from 🛒Aliexpress (~9€).
- Don't smell like a perfume shop: Get zinc deodorant, I can recommend the cream from Greendoor (they have sticks too) (no affiliate! You can get it in drugstores too). Bonus: If you have t-shirts that smell after a few hours of wearing, you will be able to wear them for 2 days again (no shit!). DO NOT USE ALUMINIUM!.
- For skin peeling use salt grains in suitable soap. If pimple has hair in pore, pull hair first with tweezers. Get injection needles to use for cosmetics (they are sterile, lasercut-sharp and cheap).
- Upgrade your watch with Chinese sapphire glass from aliexpress (~15-20€) and press in with wood in bench vise
- Upgrade your hifi-stereo amp or car radio with bluetooth
- either for 30pin iPod connector or 3.5mm/RCA cinch or with FM-transmitter (~3€))
- silica gel bag in a box for de-humidification / drying: reuse by baking dry again before it gets soggy.
- Learn key combinations, play typing games like https://zty.pe and proper finger typing. Don't be a reliant mouse nudger or touch fondeler.
- bash/vi/hex cheat sheet pdfs
Following is randomly written down wisdom - or so I find.
- get higher resolution profile pictures on PayPal by changing end of URL from “/image_26.img” to “/image_20.img”
- the QWERTY layout was designed to reduce typewriter jams by spacing out commonly paired letters.
- they are called “upper case” and “lower case” letters because they were separated into two boxes during book printing invention times.
- PS/2 keyboard connector has N-key rollover (NKRO) and uses hardware interrupts (IRQ 1 for keyboard, IRQ 12 for mouse) and is therefore theoretically with less latency than USB, which uses polling (at 125Hz-1kHz).
- HMDI over DVI (even with audio) is possible with a MCU nowadays O.o, e.g. PiPico RP2040/RP2350
- ESP32-C6 RISC-V MCU does not only have WiFi/BT/Zigbee but also an official elf-loader. There is ASIO too.
- TinyGL runs crossplattform and on several MCUs even with 3D (awesome for GUI)
- glitching MCUs for dumping firmware is feasible. Revive your bricked MCUs, revert PS4 to prev FW.
- https://bahn.expert: More accurate schedules than Deutsche Bahn itself. marudor.de was created to join different APIs of DB. Watch his talks at CCC.
- https://archive.org is your best friend (there are alternatives, e.g. https://archive.is/).
- Google translate is awesome for translating non-english websites (just paste the link).
- Find information on reddit; always check different sources, expert forums and even youtube videos.
- If you must use AI, see https://duck.ai - a more data friendly service of https://duckduckgo.com search provider. (Use AI for starting points and pages you can read up on. Don't forget to check/validate your sources! AI uses up tons of energy, think if you can do w/o).
- There is a lawsuit which proves that Google search has gotten really bad on purpose to keep users clicking on more adlinks (startpage.com is an anonymized, profile-less google search, which is sucks as much as google). Besides https://duckduckgo.com, try out Qwant, Searx or even decentralized Yacy. For metasearch try https://metager.de
- For english translations dict.cc (and its mobile(m.)/pocket. versions), [leo.org] also for franko-languages. AI is good in translations and grammar correction too if you precise your questions.
- There are so called "awesome lists" on github. Even ultimate awesome lists. Pages with listings of awesome lists exist too. I have my own collection of links and knowledge

Android is a crippled Linux, but there is sadly no way around it anymore. Consider using (official) LineageOS, microG derivate or /e/OS. For good long-term support, check devices for postmarketOS. With the latter you can also use your phone as a home server.
F-Droid is a must-have app store:
Simplified speaking, for desktops there is only Chromium-based browsers (Blink engine) or Firefox (Gecko engine) (and Webkit/Safari for Mac/iOS). Support diversity and use the only major independent alternative: Firefox or one of its derivates.
