Re-calibrate the touchpad:
while player is turned on, press 'Enter'-key for 3+ seconds. Then press the ON/OFF(PLAY button) without anything touching the touchpad and it will be re-calibrated.

Fun fact: The hardware was developed by Meizu, the software was bought from 3rd-party company.
M6SL and M3 have DAC from Wolfson, whereas M6TP and SP use Philips UDA1380HN. The player received so much good reviews as the EQ was/is state of the art and plays several files like FLAC, OGG and video too.
M6SL has relocated the play/pause button to the lower touchpad 'return'-button.
Dane-Elec is the European distribution of the player: Volume is limited to 33 and there is no FM. Reflash FW to remove restrictions.

There used to be accessories like a desk stand and even a portable speaker called mDock.

It is possible to change the flash storage IC (Samsung) to upgrade storage. De-solder flash IC, solder in new IC, reformat and reflash firmware.
